Time Out

We have been putting Wilson in Time Out when he does something way out of line, like hitting us or throwing books at windows or kicking Jack in the face ( you get the point). I thought that it might be pointless at this age, but they do it at school and it seems to be effective. I try to do it only when the circumstances are extreme. After all, he is a child and he's not even 2! He usually knows when he does something he is not supposed to. Lately, he has been putting himself in time out! He will look at me and say, "Time Out Mommy?" and run to the wall and sit down.

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing!!??!
