For the first time in 5 years, my college roommates and I got together last weekend at the lake. We did not have any other agenda, like a wedding, or a party or a baby shower, etc...
We just got to enjoy each other's company. It was like we had never even been apart, even though we are all at such different places in our lives than we were 5 years ago.

We all got to the lake on Friday afternoon. I took Wilson with me, but Doug picked him up
when he got to the lake late Friday afternoon. Melissa brought Miller, who is almost 3 and Lee brought Jack ,almost 4, and Elizabeth Jane, aka Sissy or Ninja, who is 16 months. They had so much fun playing together and we all had fun being able to be around each other's children! It is so heart warming when your friends love your child!

We did a lot of catching up, a lot of laughing, a lot of reminiscing, a lot more laughing, a lot of eating, a little dancing and more laughing. It was a great weekend of fellowship and fun! We are all so blessed to have each other. Can't wait for next year!
